Abstract

In a context of profound social, political, technological, and environmental change, culture plays a central role in understanding the challenges facing contemporary Europe. Bringing together contributions from different disciplinary fields, this volume explores issues related to European cultural policies, heritage, memory, identity, architecture, cultural landscapes, museums, tourism, and sustainability.
