Empreendedorismo jovem e desenvolvimento: estruturas e dinâmicas no município de Beja

Abstract

No estudo de caso que se apresenta, pretendeu-se compreender a territorialização das políticas públicas de incentivo ao empreendedorismo jovem, identificando as dinâmicas, oportunidades e constrangimentos existentes no município de Beja. Foram utilizados métodos e técnicas de investigação qualitativa de forma a construir um estudo de caso de perfil qualitativo e exploratório. A investigação possibilitou compreender o contributo das políticas públicas de incentivo ao empreendedorismo para o desenvolvimento local, identificar as estruturas e as estratégias de apoio ao empreendedorismo, explorar as dinâmicas, o perfil e as motivações do empreendedorismo jovem no município de Beja e demonstrar as oportunidades e os constrangimentos existentes para o empreendedorismo jovem como fator de desenvolvimento local. Adicionalmente, considera-se que os resultados da investigação contribuem para a reflexão sociológica sobre a territorialização das políticas públicas de apoio ao empreendedorismo e sobre o futuro e importância do empreendedorismo jovem e para o desenvolvimento sustentável; - Abstract: Young entrepreneurship and development: structures and dynamics in the municipality of Beja In the case study presented, the aim was to understand the territorialization of public policies to encourage youth entrepreneurship, identifying the dynamics, opportunities, and constraints existing in the municipality of Beja. Qualitative research methods and techniques were used to construct a qualitative and exploratory case study. The research made it possible to understand the contribution of public policies to encourage entrepreneurship to local development, identify the structures and strategies to support entrepreneurship, explore the dynamics, profile, and motivations of youth entrepreneurship in the municipality of Beja, and demonstrate the opportunities and constraints that exist for youth entrepreneurship as a factor in local development. Additionally, it is considered that the research results contribute to sociological reflection on the territorialization of public policies to support entrepreneurship and on the future and importance of youth entrepreneurship for sustainable development.
