Capacitação das famílias para a introdução alimentar em crianças no primeiro ano de vida - O papel do Enfermeiro de Saúde Familiar

Abstract

O presente relatório, desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem na área de Enfermagem de Saúde Familiar, descreve o percurso formativo e a implementação de um projeto de intervenção centrado na capacitação das famílias na introdução alimentar no primeiro ano de vida. O relatório teve como objetivo refletir sobre a aquisição de competências na área da especialização e descrever o projeto de intervenção e os resultados obtidos com as famílias em estudo. Foi adotada uma metodologia de relato de casos múltiplo, com acompanhamento de três famílias em cuidados de saúde primários. A intervenção teve por base o Modelo Calgary de Avaliação e Intervenção Familiar, articulado com os modelos de Nola Pender, Anne Casey e Roper-Logan-Tierney, recorrendo a entrevista semiestruturada, Escala de Graffar, Escala de Desenvolvimento de Mary Sheridan Modificada, análise de medidas antropométricas e percentis e observação clínica. Os resultados evidenciaram ganhos em literacia em saúde e fortalecimento das competências parentais; - Empowering Families For The Introduction Of Food To Children In The First Year Of Life - The Role Of The Family Health Nurse ABSTRACT: This report, developed within the scope of the Master's Degree in Nursing in the field of Family Health Nursing, describes the educational pathway and the implementation of an intervention project focused on empowering families in the process of complementary feeding during the first year of life. The main objectives were to reflect on the acquisition of specialized competencies and to describe the intervention project, as well as the outcomes achieved with the participating families. A multiple case study methodology was adopted, involving the follow-up of three families in a primary healthcare setting. The intervention was based on the Calgary Family Assessment and Intervention Model, articulated with the theoretical frameworks of Nola Pender, Anne Casey, and Roper-Logan-Tierney. Data collection included semi-structured interviews, the Graffar Scale, the Modified Mary Sheridan Development Scale, anthropometric measurements and percentiles analysis, and clinical observation. The results demonstrated improvements in health literacy and a strengthening of parental competencies, highlighting the relevance of family-centered nursing interventions in promoting healthy child development during the first year of life.
