Um património a descobrir: o caso da Reserva de Arqueologia da Casa dos Patudos - Museu de Alpiarça

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio, desenvolvido no âmbito do mestrado em Gestão e Valorização do Património Histórico e Cultural, teve como finalidade a inventariação da Reserva de Arqueologia da Casa dos Patudos – Museu de Alpiarça, por forma a contribuir para a salvaguarda e valorização deste mesmo legado. Sendo desconhecido para a maioria da população de Alpiarça, ele é, contudo, relevante, e refere-se a uma parte importante da História Local. Pretendeu-se, assim, inventariar a Reserva de Arqueologia, a gerir e divulgar como importante acervo. O museu veio a receber materiais arqueológicos provenientes do concelho, a título de depósito, num acervo que terá começado a constituir-se pela doação dos materiais arqueológicos da escavação de Gustavo Marques e Miguéis de Andrade, em 1973. Nos anos 80 do século XX, o acervo aumentou com o depósito dos bens das escavações de Philine Kalb e Martin Höck. Tenciona-se, também, dar a conhecer a Casa dos Patudos – Museu de Alpiarça, a sua gestão e diferentes atividades, nas quais se participou; Heritage to discover: The case of the Archaeology Reserve of Casa dos Patudos – Alpiarça Museum Abstract: This Internship Report, developed within the scope of the master's degree in Management and Valorisation of Historical and Cultural Heritage, aimed the inventory the Reserve of Archaeology of the Casa dos Patudos – Museu de Alpiarça, in order to contribute to the safeguarding and enhancement of this same legacy. Being unknown to the majority of the population of Alpiarça, it is nevertheless relevant, and refers to an important part of the local history. So, we must recognize this inventory as an important collection that deserves the best management effort and public knowledge. The museum has been receiving archaeological materials from the municipality, as a deposit, for some decades so far, having turned into a collection that began with the donation of archaeological materials from the excavation of Gustavo Marques and Miguéis de Andrade, in 1973. In the 1980s, the collection increased with the deposit of the findings collected in the campaigns of Philine Kalb and Martin Höck. It was also our intention to get to know, and to make even more known, the Casa dos Patudos – Museu de Alpiarça, through our participation in its management and different activities.
