Operadores de sequencialização do discurso. Estudo de caso nos relatórios de fim de curso no Instituto Médio Politécnico Pascoal Luvualu

Abstract

O foco desta pesquisa centra-se no uso dos operadores de sequencialização de discurso nos relatórios de fim de curso de alunos do Instituto Médio Politécnico Pascoal Luvualu (IMPPL), uma escola do 2º Ciclo do Ensino Secundário. O estudo tem como objetivo analisar, numa perspetiva semântico-pragmática, os articuladores textuais, assim como explorar possíveis desdobramentos de valores expressos por esses articuladores. Para isso, empreendemos uma pesquisa de caráter, fundamentalmente, qualitativo, embora tenhamos feito também uma abordagem quantitativa. A junção de ambas as perspetivas permitiu identificar o nível de proficiência linguística dos alunos, no que respeita o uso dos operadores discursivos. Este estudo está ligado à área da Linguística Textual, pois entendemos que o texto / discurso, sendo «(...) produto efetivo do uso da língua, nas diversas situações de comunicação humana.» (Raposo, 2020:2667), deve ser considerado como núcleo central para o desenvolvimento das pesquisas linguísticas. Os procedimentos metodológicos foram de cunho bibliográfico, explicativo e de investigação de campo. Os Projetos Tecnológicos (Relatórios) dos alunos do IMPPL eram a prova das dificuldades sentidas, ao nível da articulação, coesa e coerente, dos seus discursos. Desta forma, procedemos à análise dos referidos relatórios no que respeita o uso dos operadores discursivos. O intuito seria perceber se os alunos desta Instituição possuíam conhecimento destas estruturas linguísticas e as relações lógico-semânticas que se estabelecem no texto. A análise dos resultados permitiu identificar o nível de proficiência linguístico de cada um dos alunos envolvidos nesta pesquisa, através da definição de critérios, não só de teor quantitativo, mas sobretudo de teor qualitativo; ABSTRACT: Speech Sequencing Operators. Case Study in the end-of-course Reports of the Instituto Médio Politécnico Pascoal Luvualu The focus of this research is on the use of speech sequencing operators in end-of-course reports. These reports were written by students who attended the Instituto Médio Politécnico Pascoal Luvualu (IMPPL), a Secondary Education School. This study aims to analyse textual connectors from a semantic-pragmatic perspective. It also seeks to explore possible valuable ramifications expressed by these textual connectors. To do that we undertake a qualitative research, even though a quantitative approach was also taken into consideration. The union of both perspectives allowed the identification of student’s level of language proficiency, in the specific matter of speech connectors. This should be considered the main focus for linguistic research development. The methodological procedures were bibliographical, explanatory, and field research. The Technological Projects (Reports) of IMPPL students were proof of the difficulties felt, at the level of articulation, cohesive and coherent, of their speeches. Thus, we proceeded to analyse these reports regarding the use of discursive operators. The objective was to understand whether the students of this institution had knowledge of these linguistics structures and the logical-semantic relationships established in the text. Using the criteria defined, the analysis of the results allowed us to identify the language proficiency level of each Report, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
