Intervenção psicomotora em contexto de consulta hospitalar de pediatria

Abstract

No presente relatório são descritas as atividades de estágio desenvolvidas, em contexto de Pediatria do Desenvolvimento, no Hospital do Espírito Santo de Évora, no âmbito do estágio curricular do Mestrado em Psicomotricidade da Universidade de Évora. Os objetivos consistiram em contextualizar a prática psicomotora num serviço de Pediatria; investigar e descrever os casos encaminhados para a Psicomotricidade; analisar e contextualizar a intervenção psicomotora dos casos individuais; refletir sobre a pertinência da Psicomotricidade em Pediatria; descrever as tarefas realizadas durante o estágio e refletir sobre a prática psicomotora à distância. Devido à pandemia COVID-19 e consequente interrupção da intervenção, não foi possível comparar os resultados da intervenção psicomotora porque não foram realizadas avaliações finais. Em contrapartida, foram realizadas atividades complementares e reflexões sobre as prováveis evoluções dos estudos de caso e sobre os desafios da intervenção psicomotora à distância enquanto alternativa à intervenção presencial; Abstract: Psychomotor intervention in a hospital pediatric environment This report describes the internship activities developed in the context of Developmental Pediatrics, at the Hospital do Espírito Santo de Évora, which took place within the scope of the curricular internship of the master’s degree in Psychomotricity at the University of Évora. The objectives of this report aimed for the contextualization of the psychomotor practice in a Developmental Pediatrics service, investigation and description of the cases forwarded to Psychomotricity, analysis and contextualization of psychomotor intervention in individual case studies; reflect on the relevance of Psychomotricity in Pediatrics context; describe the tasks performed during the internship and reflect on distance psychomotor practice. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent interruption of the intervention, it was not possible to compare the results of the psychomotor intervention because no final evaluations were carried out. On the other hand, complementary activities, and reflections on the probable evolutions of the case studies and on the challenges of distance psychomotor intervention as an alternative to face-to-face intervention were carried out.
