Abstract: | Stone structures, more or less monumental in form, with different functions and chronologies, can be found all around the globe. Whilst their origin and development are central themes within research about this phenomenon, and although we possess increasingly developed methodologies for the study and analysis of their different elements, the truth is that, in most cases, we have more doubts than certainties, especially as far as the development of megalithic architectures is concerned. |
