Empreendedorismo e alavancagem financeira usando técnicas não concencionais : análise no contexto empresarial português

Abstract

Criar uma empresa ou lançar um projecto com características inovadoras traz uma dificuldade usual que é a de angariação de recursos para o desenvolvimento da iniciativa. Este estudo assenta principalmente no estudo de técnicas não convencionais de obtenção de recursos e que têm sido abordadas por investigadores a nível mundial como "financial bootstrapping' ou simplesmente "bootstrapping', dentro do panorama empresarial português. O estudo assenta em estudos de questionário, documental e bibliográfico, onde se constata a importância e dificuldades das PMEs no panorama sócio económico Europeu e ainda a falta de estudos sobre as mesmas. Nesta dissertação conclui-se que em Portugal a temática do bootstrapping e sua utilização é desconhecida e pouco utilizada, embora tenha sido considerada mais importante que as teorias financeiras para o empreendedorismo. Verificou-se também que a elaboração de planos de negócios não é sinónimo de sucesso das empresas. Considerou-se o bootstrapping como um nível anterior ao auto financiamento na teoria da Hierarquia de Preferências. – ABSTRACT: To start a business or to develop a project with innovation characteristics, usually brings some difficulties in the raising of resources to put things working. The basis of this study is to understand which non-conventional techniques are used in the raising of resources under a theme that is being treated by international researchers as "financial bootstrapping" or simply by "bootstrapping", in the Portuguese enterprise scenario. This study is based on inquires, documents and bibliography, being possible to check the SMEs importance and difficulties inside the European's social and economic scenery and the gap of studies regarding these kinds of companies. ln this study is possible to conclude that bootstrapping and its use is not known neither used in Portugal, nevertheless was considered more important for entrepreneurship than the common corporative theories. For entrepreneurial success, was also possible to check that a business plan isn't exactly the key. Inside the Pecking Order Theory was considered that bootstrapping can be the level before auto financing.
