familiar/afetividade e o apoio social prestado pelo cônjuge; Co-parenting in families with children caring disabilities
Abstract:
Co-parenting concept refers to the way how parenting figures work jointly their
parenting roles (Sifuentes & Bosa, 2010).
The primary goal of this investigation was to study the quality of collaboration between
parents, as well as understand de social network of families with children caring
disabilities. In the present study toke part 55 parents (n=55) with sons caring
disabilities, from the North and the South of the country. They answered to scales -
McHale Co-parenting Scale and a Social Support Scale.
The main results found sugest that co-parenting is more positive when the couple lives
in a marital situation and when there is only one child. We have also concluded that
there is a positive correlation between the dimension regarding familiar/afectivity
integration and social support provided by the spouse. |
