Abstract: | Este estágio inseriu-se no âmbito do curso de Mestrado em Exercício e Saúde da Universidade de Évora.
Existem “infinitas” evidências científicas consistentes sobre os efeitos positivos da prática de atividade física e de exercício físico na prevenção, controlo e melhoria de condições de saúde crónicas.
Este estágio teve como objetivos principais: aplicar em contexto real conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do curso e melhorar a saúde de indivíduos com condições crónicas, através do desenvolvimento e aplicação de um programa de intervenção de exercício físico em contexto de treino personalizado, promovendo, consequentemente, a melhoria da qualidade de vida relacionada com a saúde destes indivíduos.
O programa compreendeu: a fase de seleção de participantes; a fase diagnóstica (avaliação física inicial, avaliação da qualidade e estilo de vida); a fase de prescrição e operacionalização do programa de exercício físico; e por fim as fases da reavaliação e da análise e discussão dos resultados; ABSTRACT:
Internship report with intervention program of physical exercise in adults with chronic conditions within the scope of personalized training
This internship was part of the Master's Degree in Exercise and Health at the University of Évora.
There is “infinite” consistent scientific evidence on the positive effects of the practice of physical activity and physical exercise in the prevention, control and improvement of chronic health conditions.
This internship had the following main objectives: to apply in a real context knowledge acquired throughout the course and to improve the health of individuals with chronic conditions, through the development and application of a physical exercise intervention project in a context of personalized training, consequently promoting , the improvement of the health-related quality of life of these individuals.
The program comprised: the participant selection phase; the diagnostic phase (initial physical assessment and quality and lifestyle assessment); the phase of prescription and implementation of the physical exercise program; and finally the reevaluation and analysis and discussion of the results. |
