desenvolvidos. O VO surge no contexto do Défice Cognitivo Ligeiro (DCL) e
do Life Centered Design e do User Experience / Interaction, o VO aspira,
interpessoal.
ter na criação de soluções terapêuticas; VO: Multisensory Life Centered Experience - Abstract: The significant increase of the senior population over 65 years old, and the
declining of the young population, in Portugal and other developed countries,
are known facts. VO: Multisensory Life Centered Experience arises in a context
of increasing Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). Our investigation will be the
development of a multisensory, interactive innovative experience to prevent,
delay and minimize the gradual manifestation of MCI throughout life. VO aspires
to improve the individual's autonomy, cognitive, psychological, and motor
performance, through a Life Centered Design and User Experience / Interaction,
as well as communication and interpersonal skills stimulus. Our motivation
is to understand established relationships between MCI and Design. We
will verify the impact that Design can have in the creation of therapeutic solutions
on the condition of the target individual by developing a designed therapeutic
device. |
