Variação fonético-fonológica do português de Angola: características da variedade falada em Cabinda e suas implicações profissionais na TPA

Abstract

O português é uma língua pluricêntrica que apresenta, pelo menos, dois centros difusores de norma linguística no mundo, um em Portugal e outro no Brasil. A existência destes centros não impede que exista variação linguística regional, social e individual nos respetivos países e esta variação está também presente nas demais variedades não padrão do português. Nesta medida, o nosso trabalho de investigação tem como principal objetivo estudar a variação sincrónica diatópica do português, nomeadamente a variedade angolana do português (VAP), na região de Cabinda, em particular, centrando-se assim sobre a análise das particularidades fonético-fonológicas desta variedade manifestadas pelos jornalistas do Centro de Produção da TPA em Cabinda e das implicações que essas particularidades têm no seu desempenho profissional, que por vezes resultam em prejuízo para os mesmos. O estudo baseia-se, nomeadamente: (1) num conjunto de textos lidos por cada um dos nossos informantes (jornalistas), que permitirão identificar as marcas linguísticas da variedade falada em Cabinda, (2) nas respostas dadas pelos jornalistas ao questionário escrito e (3) nos resultados obtidos nas entrevistas realizadas aos membros de direção da TPA em Cabinda e jornalistas. O trabalho é constituído por quatro capítulos. No primeiro capítulo, intitulado Revisão Bibliográfica, abordaremos questões relativas à variação linguística do português europeu e do português falado em Angola. No segundo capítulo, o da Metodologia, apresentaremos a descrição dos corpora e do modo como os dados foram obtidos e tratados. No terceiro capítulo, dedicado à Apresentação e Discussão dos Dados, procuraremos apresentar, analisar e discutir os resultados dos dados recolhidos. Finalmente, no quarto capítulo, Conclusões, faremos uma síntese dos principais resultados a que a análise dos dados conduziu, tendo em atenção os principais aspetos da variação linguística que tornam diferente o português falado em Angola na Província de Cabinda, mais particularmente na TPA, em relação ao português falado em Luanda e à norma do português europeu; Abstract: Phonological-phonetic Variation in the Portuguese of Angola: Characteristics of the spoken variety in Cabinda and its professional implications at TPA Portuguese is a pluricentric language that has at least two centers of linguistic norm diffusion in the world, one in Portugal and the other in Brazil. The existence of these centers does not prevent the existence of regional, social and individual linguistic variation in the respective countries, and this variation is also present in other non-standard Portuguese varieties. In this sense, our research work has as main objective to study the diatopic synchronic variation of Portuguese, namely its Angolan variety of Portuguese (VAP), in the Cabinda region, in particular, focusing on the analysis of phonological-phonetic particularities of this variety manifested by the journalists of the TPA Production Center in Cabinda and the implications that these particularities have on their professional performance, which sometimes results in negative judgment of values. In particular, the study is based on: (1) a set of texts read by each of our informants (journalists), to identify the linguistic marks of the variety spoken in Cabinda; (2) the answers given by journalists to the written questionnaire and (3) the results obtained from interviews made by TPA board members in Cabinda and journalists. The work consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, entitled Bibliographic Review, we will address issues related to the linguistic variation of European Portuguese and Portuguese spoken in Angola; In the second chapter, Methodology, we present the description of the corpora, and how the data were obtained and how they will be treated; In the third chapter, dedicated to Data Presentation and Discussion, we will seek to present, analyze and discuss the results of data collected from different types; In the fourth chapter, related to General Conclusion of the Work, we will summarize the main results that the analysis of the data led to, taking into account the main aspects of linguistic variation that make Portuguese spoken in Angola different in Cabinda Province, more particularly in the TPA, in relation to the European Portuguese standard.
