Abstract: | A investigação tem demonstrado que a esperança e o bem-estar são componentes que influenciam a aprendizagem dos estudantes no ensino superior. Neste estudo foi abordada a esperança tendo subjacente a Teoria da Esperança de Snyder e o bem-estar. Para o efeito, foi realizada a adaptação para a população portuguesa da Escala de Disposição face à Esperança de Snyder et al. (2000) e a aplicação da Escala de Bem-estar Psicológico de Sánchez-Cánovas (1988) com adaptação para Língua Portuguesa de Carochinho (2016). Pretendeu-se avaliar a esperança na aprendizagem académica e o bem-estar em estudantes do ensino superior. O estudo teve uma amostra de 205 estudantes do curso de Psicologia e de Medicina Veterinária, do 1º e 2º ciclo de estudos. Os resultados demonstraram que existe uma correlação positiva, recorrendo à correlação de Pearson, entre a esperança e o bem-estar subjetivo. Os resultados foram elevados no geral, apesar de não revelar diferenças estatisticamente significativas quanto ao ciclo de estudos, curso, género e idade; ABSTRACT:
Research has shown that hope and well-being are components that influence students’ apprenticeship in higher education. In this study the subject of hope will be approach underlying Hope Theory of Snyder and well-being. For this effect, will be performed the adaptation of the Dispositional Hope Scale – DHS of Snyder et al. (2000) and the application of Well-being Scale of Sánchez-Cánovas (1988) with adaption to the portuguese language of Carochinho (2016). Furthermore of the adaptation of the instrument it is intended to assess hope in the framework of academic apprenticeship and psychological well-being in students. The study has a sample of 205 students of the Psychology and Veterinary Medicine course of the 1st and 2nd cycle of studies. The results show that there is a positive correlation, using Pearson's correlation, between a hope and a subjective well-being. The results were generally high, although they did not reveal statistically significant differences in cycle of studies, course, gender and age. |
