Title: Pediatric interhospital transport: recommendations for planning
Pediatric inter-hospital transport is vitally important to the access of the child/juvenile to health care with timely human and technical resources that are not available at the hospital of origin, ensuring continuity of care. In order for safety to be assured and its quality evaluated, it is facilitating the use of planning tools in assessing minimum requirements and predicting possible complications.
Based on the project methodology, the general objective was to promote child safety in pediatric inter-hospital transport, which is part of the research line: “safety and quality of life”. As a final result, we have built a guideline for the planning of pediatric inter-hospital transport.
The elaboration of the Internship Report made it possible to document the fundamental training trajectory in the acquisition and development of the competences of Master, common and specific to the Specialist Nurse in Child and Juvenile Health Nursing. |
