Title: Polarization Division Multiplexing with Subpicosecond Solitons

Abstract: After introducing perturbation terms to the Manakov equation to account for higher-order dispersion and for the Raman effect, we analyze polarization division multiplexing with subpicosecond solitons. Dispersion-shifted single-mode fibers operating at 1.55pm are considered.
