Abstract

Da leitura/interpretação ao processo de tradução/reescrita interlingue em “Sous le jasmin la nuit” e “Nuit et silence”de Maïssa Bey pretende ser uma proposta de reescrita de francês para português dos contos “Sous le jasmin la nuit” e “Nuit et silence” extraídos da colectânea de contos Sous le jasmin la nuit da escritora argelina Maïssa Bey. Este percurso assenta na abordagem descritiva que contempla os aspectos culturais no processo tradutório. A tradução é encarada não como um mero decalque do original mas um exercício de reescrita uma vez que um mesmo texto pode dar origem a traduções diversas, em função das múltiplas variantes que interferem no processo. Desta forma, o texto traduzido é sempre manipulado. Partindo do pressuposto que a língua é parte integrante da cultura, a compreensão e interpretação de um texto de partida, estigmatizado culturalmente, exige que se proceda a uma contextualização histórica e sóciocultural anterior ao processo de tradução/reescrita dos contos. Neste percurso tradutivo de um texto literário damos especial enfoque à restituição do sentido, privilegiando também uma análise linguística, semântica, lexical, sintáctica, pragmática e estilística de forma a conceber um texto coerente na língua de chegada; ABSTRACT: The Reading/Interpretation to the interlingua process of translation/rewriting in “Sous le jasmin de la nuit” and “Nuit et Silence” of Maissa Bey intends to be a proposal of the rewriting of the French to Portuguese tales “Sous le jasmin de la nuit” and “Nuit et silence”, taken from the literary work “Sous le jasmin de la nuit” written by the Algerian writer Maissa Bey. This process relies on a descriptive approach that includes cultural aspects in the translation process, designing the translation not as a mere decal of the original but as a rewriting exercise since the same text can give origin to diverse translations depending on the multiple variants that interfere with the whole process. Thus the translated text is always manipulated. Assuming that the language is part of the culture, the task of understanding and interpreting an original text, culturally stigmatized, requires the translator to make a historical context and socio-cultural approach previous to the translation-rewriting of the stories. In this translation process of a literary text we focus on giving the right meaning, favoring a linguistic, lexical, pragmatic, semantic analysis as well as an analysis of the syntax in order to write a coherent text in the target language.
