O papel do enfermeiro de família na transição para a parentalidade: desafios e estratégias

Abstract

O presente relatório apresenta uma análise crítico-reflexiva das atividades desenvolvidas para a aquisição, desenvolvimento e consolidação das competências comuns do enfermeiro especialista, das competências específicas em enfermagem comunitária na área da saúde familiar e para a obtenção do grau de mestre, tendo como base o projeto O papel do enfermeiro de família na transição para a parentalidade: desafios e estratégias. A transição para a parentalidade representa uma nova fase do ciclo vital familiar, implicando alterações significativas na estrutura e dinâmica das famílias. A família, enquanto unidade sistémica, constitui um espaço de suporte à vida e à saúde dos seus membros. Neste contexto, o enfermeiro de família promove cuidados antecipatórios, considerando a singularidade familiar e a influência das relações, com base no Modelo Calgary. In this context, the family nurse promotes anticipatory care, considering family uniqueness and the influence of relationships, based on the Calgary Model. A case study was conducted with two families, resulting in an adjusted care plan that promoted empowerment, positive changes, and gains in the family health.
