Title: Quiet Quitting -Perspectives of Silent Disengagement in Current Work Dynamics
Authors: Saraiva, Margarida; Nogueiro, Teresa
Abstract: Quitting quietly has become a common difficulty for organizations in today's work environment because many employees no longer give their jobs their all and merely perform the bare minimum. The purpose of this paper is to conduct an analysis of this trend in the dynamics of the modern workplace, drawing on relevant references. It was determined that this is not a recent labor movement and has been occurring in the workplace subtly for a considerable amount of time; that certain circumstances can encourage employees to practice quiet quitting, and that this tendency affects employees of all ages and is not just present in younger generations. In addition, a "safety zone" chart was drawn, and a SWOT analysis carried out. It was observed that the main mitigating organizational strategies include the implementation of physical and mental health programs, training, professional development and recognition, open communication, and organizational flexibility.

Title: Quality Education (SDG 4) and Quality of Education: Perspectives, Similarities, and Differences.
Authors: Nogueiro, Teresa; Saraiva, Margarida
Abstract: This paper analyses the concepts of Quality Education (SDG 4) and Quality of Education, exploring their perspectives, similarities, and differences. Education is recognized as a vital component in developing individual potential, influencing social standing, labour market competitiveness, and quality of life. The study highlights the necessity of equitable access to quality education as a means to foster innovation and productivity. While Quality Education reflects a global commitment to inclusive education as outlined in Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality of Education examines the processes and resources that underpin educational outcomes. The research employs scoping reviews and content analysis to systematically synthesize existing knowledge on these concepts, elucidating their multifaceted nature and their contributions to societal progress and educational quality.

How to Manage a Sustainable Supply Chain Based on a Collaborative Management Model.

Title: How to Manage a Sustainable Supply Chain Based on a Collaborative Management Model.
Authors: Rolo, Ana; Saraiva, Margarida; Nogueiro, Teresa; Alves, Rui
Abstract: Effective supply chain management is crucial to business sustainability and will only be possible
based on environmental concerns and adopting agile and resilient practices to adapt to the unstable environment. The main objective of this study is to examine how companies choose supply chain structure
based on collaborative relationships, to pursuit global strategies, now that competition stopped occurring
between companies only and begins to be discussed between supply chains also. This qualitative research was supported on a case study applied to five companies in the automotive industry, using data collection
instruments: documentary sources, interviews, and a questionnaire survey, complemented by site visits. From this case study the conceptual model was validated. It was concluded that supply chain management scopes
are not a sum of a set of firms, with its own objectives and strategies, but the result of a single system of
integrated, transversal and interdependent processes, based on a holistic approach. This paper proposes a conceptual model to select the best strategies and structure to manage supply chain based on LARG (Lean,
Agile, Resilient and Green) approach.

Case Study in Intellectual Capital and Territorial Development: Analysing Portuguese Local Governments WEB Pages

Title: Case Study in Intellectual Capital and Territorial Development: Analysing Portuguese Local Governments WEB Pages
Authors: Bailoa, Sandra; Resende da Silva, Paulo
Abstract: Multiple authors argue that the digital infrastructure of municipalities and regions, such as websites,
have an important role to play in local and regional development since they enable the access and
sharing of information, knowledge and the provision of certain services. Functioning as an entrance way
to a territory, the websites provide important contributions in the knowledge and intellectual capital
management activities. In this sense, an evaluation of websites is a core activity for the updating of
content and delivery of services, contributing to their best management in the context of e-government.
However, there are a limited number of studies on evaluation of websites from the perspective of
intellectual capital, although the importance of this asset, either in business or public sector, and also to
the development of territories is recognized. So, this study intend to show the importance of intellectual
capital in the public sector, more specifically on local government, by assessing the intellectual capital of
its web pages by implementing a model of intellectual capital for the public sector.
