Este desafio, que pode significar menos receitas acarretadas pelo Estado em caso de falhas de distinta natureza, exige não apenas alterações na tributação dos bens como na criação da tributação dos serviços. Face ao exposto, o objetivo geral da presente investigação, é conhecer as expetativas de distintos atores (dirigentes públicos e agentes económicos privados) acerca da implementação do IVA, e das suas implicações económicas e sociais. Para tal, será desenhada uma investigação de natureza mista, com recurso a entrevistas semiestruturadas a especialistas relacionados com o sistema fiscal e um inquérito por questionário a agentes económicos que já estejam a adotar este imposto. Espera-se que as conclusões possam ser úteis para os decisores políticos e instituições responsáveis de forma a compreender melhor a sua importância e papel económico e social; Expectations of different authors about the implementation of VAT in São Tomé and Príncipe and its economic and social implications - Abstract: With the aim of modernising the economy, Value Added Tax (VAT) was introduced in the archipelago of São Tomé and Príncipe (STP) on 1 June 2023, replacing the current system for taxing the consumption of goods based on Decree-Law 14/93 of 5 March. This challenge, which could mean less revenue for the state in the event of failures of different kinds, requires not only changes in the taxation of goods but also the creation of taxation on services. In view of the above, the general objective of this research is to find out the expectations of different actors (public leaders and private economic agents) regarding the implementation of VAT and its economic and social implications. To this end, a mixed research study will be designed, using semi-structured interviews with experts related to the tax system and a questionnaire survey of economic agents who are already adopting this tax. Objetivos: Adquisición de competencias como enfermera especialista en salud materna y obstetricia además de analizar la literatura científica sobre el suelo pélvico en el embarazo, parto y posparto. Metodologia: Revisión narrativa con pasos sistemáticos, para analizar un tema complejo como las disfunciones del suelo pélvico. Resultados: Se fortalecieron diversas competencias generales y propias de las enfermeras especializadas. Dentro de ellas destacan las intervenciones preventivas, como la práctica de ejercicios de Kegel y el masaje perineal, que contribuyen a disminuir la probabilidad de desgarros y la aparición de incontinencia. Hay que afiadir que la educación sanitaria y la formación continua de los profesionales son clave para una atención efectiva y humanizada. Metodologia: Revisão narrativa com etapas sistemáticas, para analisar um tema complexo como as disfunções do pavimento pélvico. Resultados: Foram reforçadas várias competências gerais e específicas das enfermeiras especializadas. Entre elas destacamse as intervenções preventivas, como a prática de exercícios de Kegel e a massagem perineal, que contribuem para diminuir a probabilidade de lacerações e o aparecimento de incontinência. D’un produit artisanal issu de réseaux anciens, il devient un objet industriel, encadré, standardisé, puis remis en cause. L’élevage s’intensifie sous l’effet des politiques agricoles ; les abattoirs se modernisent et se rationalisent. Le cuir en hérite directement, puisque les peaux sont des sous-produits. Mais l’ensemble de la filière se trouve rapidement confrontée à une série de crises : désindustrialisation, concurrence internationale, montée des matériaux synthétiques, transformation des goûts. L’artisanat se replie, les bassins historiques déclinent, les petites entreprises ferment, les grandes délocalisent. Parallèlement, les usages du cuir se diversifient et se recomposent. Matière de prestige dans la chaussure, le vêtement ou l’ameublement, il devient un symbole de force, de sexualité, de subversion, jusqu’à incarner certains courants contestataires. Mais il cristallise aussi des tensions nouvelles. Les critiques envers l’exploitation animale, longtemps marginales, s’ancrent dans des mouvements structurés – véganisme, bien-être animal, antispécisme – qui contribuent à redéfinir les normes de consommation. Le cuir devient matière polémique. Face à ces enjeux, la filière répond par des stratégies de moralisation : valorisation du recyclage, durabilité, traçabilité, retour au végétal, défense du luxe et du savoir-faire. It reflects deeper economic, social, and cultural transformations in postwar France, shaped by the modernization of agriculture, the restructuring of industry, and changing patterns of consumption. Sourced from slaughterhouses and tied to livestock production, leather reveals the evolving relationship between humans, animals, and industrial production. It carries within it a network of trades and territories, marked by technical expertise, regional specialization, and long histories. From the small artisan workshop to the industrial tannery, from working-class shoes to luxury handbags, leather moves through every layer of society. But the material is no longer unchallenged. From the 1970s onwards, it comes under increasing scrutiny. Environmental concerns, anti-speciesist activism, animal welfare campaigns, and shifting consumer ethics raise questions about how it is sourced, how it is made, and who it benefits. Leather becomes a contested object, both prized and politicized. It still circulates in the world of fashion, sport, and prestige, but its legitimacy is no longer taken for granted. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se realizan Prácticas de Naturaleza Profesional junto con la elaboración de un Informe Final, que permiten integrar teoría y práctica. Objetivo: Analizar los factores que influyen en la infertilidad, la aplicación de Técnicas de Reproducción Asistida y el papel de la EEESMO en estas situaciones. Metodología: Se efectuó una revisión narrativa de la literatura y las prácticas clínicas fueron supervisadas tanto por tutoras como por la orientadora académica, complementadas con la redacción del Informe Final. Resultados: Se amplió el conocimiento sobre la gestión de casos de infertilidad y la actuación profesional de la EEESMO, adquiriéndose competencias esenciales para su desempeño especializado. Conclusión: Los objetivos se cumplieron, consolidando conocimientos, habilidades y herramientas para la práctica profesional en salud materna y obstétrica; Infertility and Assisted Reproduction: Intervention of the Maternal and Obstetric Health Specialist Nurse - Abstract: Framework: Training as a Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health requires the development of both common and specific competencies inherent to this field. To achieve this goal, Professional Practice Placements are carried out along with the preparation of a Final Report, allowing the integration of theory and practice. Objective: To analyze the factors influencing infertility, the application of Assisted Reproduction Techniques, and the role of the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health (EEESMO) in these situations. Methodology: A narrative literature review was conducted, and clinical practice was supervised both by tutors and the academic advisor, complemented by the drafting of the Final Report. Results: Knowledge was expanded regarding the management of infertility cases and the professional role of the EEESMO, with the acquisition of essential competencies for specialized practice.
