Abstract: This publication bring together a collection of sixteen articles, showing the richness and diversity of viewpoints that streets can have. These articles were presented at the 2nd International Conference the Future Design of Streets, on 26-27 June 2025, at the Vila Flor Cultural Centre in Guimarães, Portugal. The conference was organised by ´the Future Design of Streets association´ and ´the Landscape, Heritage and Territory Laboratory of the University of Minho´. On the first conference day, research projects (academic) and street design projects (practice) were presented in various parallel sessions organised in four key topics: Social, Nature, Mobility, and Transition. The second day was structured in a plenary format: a full day programme with several (inter)national speakers from diverse areas and backgrounds, following the four key topics. The conference counted on the following invited keynote speakers: Agustina Martire, David Sim, Demetrio Scopelliti, Éric Alonzo, Giacomo Gallo, João Rafael Santos, Juan Luis Rivas Navarro, Margarida Marques, Maria Vassilakou, Marta Garcia Chico, Michael Glotz-Richter, Nuno Lavrador and Rosário Salema. The sessions on the second day were moderated by: Sara Sucena, Ivo Oliveira, Mário Alves, and Daniel Casas-Valle. All the sessions together provided a strong foundation for a solid debate about future challenges in street design and planning. The articles in this publication follows the same key topics as those mentioned above. While this brings an ordering within the articles, it is also clear that streets must be also understood as complex social and cultural phenomena, which cover a whole range of topics, whether these are technical, political or social. As a complex system, streets require an articulated and broadly interdisciplinary perspective. While each article is anchored in a specific thematic, it rapidly expands to engage with and intersect with others topics. It is precisely this diversity that the publication seeks to highlight, as it is fundamental to fostering intensified dynamics of urban transformation, and to incorporating societal and sustainable challenges. All articles were finalised after the conference, and were subject to a peer-review process under the responsibility of the members of the Scientific Committee of the 2nd International Conference on the Future Design of Streets. This publication is the result of a collective and generous effort, which we gratefully acknowledge and celebrate</summary>

Abstract: Este pequeno livro para colorir e aprender visa dar a conhecer uma área científica pouco celebrada: a antropologia biológica, principalmente a osteologia humana.
