As árvores de arruamento: um estudo para a cidade de Évora

Abstract

No tecido urbano das cidades, cada vez mais compacto e complexo, onde o espaço não edificado é cada vez mais reduzido, são os espaços abertos que ganham maior importância enquanto elementos estruturantes da paisagem e onde os elementos arbóreos ganham um maior significado na preservação da qualidade do meio urbano e na proteção dos ecossistemas. Centrado na temática da Árvore no espaço urbano, realizou-se o estágio, inserido na atividade da Divisão de Espaços Verdes e Qualidade Ambiental da Câmara Municipal de Évora, tendo como principal objetivo a inventariação, georreferenciação e identificação dos elementos arbóreos implantados em arruamento, através de um registo acessível, simples e facilmente atualizável, o qual pretende contribuir para um conhecimento preciso e adequado da realidade, relativamente ao património arbóreo da cidade. O presente relatório pretende ainda abordar o interesse e as vantagens das árvores no tecido urbano, sem esquecer o conjunto de preocupações que a gestão desses espaços acarreta, bem como apontar orientações que possam ser uma mais-valia para que A Árvore constitua elemento determinante para a qualidade de vida na cidade de Évora; ## For all the towns, the urban tissue is getting thicker and more complex and the not building areas are getting smaller, so the open spaces become much more important while they are the structuring elements on the landscape and the arboreal elements win a bigger role keeping the quality and protection of the ecosystems. Based on the Urban Tree Thematic, took place a traineeship, inserted in activity of the Green Spaces and Environmental Quality Division of the Municipality of Évora, having as the main aim the inventorying, the geo-referring and the identification of the arboreal elements widespread on the streets, through an easy registration, simple and easily updating which will contribute for a deep knowledge and that fits with reality, on what concerns the arboreal patrimony of the town. This report intends to broach the interest and advantages of trees in the urban environment, not forgetting all the concerns that come from the management of these spaces as well as give some trails that may be an added value so that The Tree becomes a solution for a good environment of town of Évora.
