O fenónemo do despovoamento rural perante o olhar da arquitectura

Abstract

A elaboração deste trabalho pretende dar visibilidade a uma problemática social e cultural relacionada com o património físico construído, sobre o ponto de vista arquitectónico. Questionam-se e interpretam-se reflexões contemporâneas, que lidam com a questão do despovoamento rural, conscientes de todos os processos endógenos e exógenos reflectidos na falta de desenvolvimento, estagnação ou abandono do mundo rural. A reunião de casos revitalizados, em que colaboraram pensadores, arquitectos e ateliês com pensamentos arquitectónicos pertinentes, permitir-nos-ão perceber até que ponto a arquitectura tem a capacidade de ser trabalhada. Numa última abordagem apresentam-se três aldeias que perspectivam um panorama do universo das aldeias interiores – o abandono, a estagnação e a “aldeia turística”. O objectivo passa por suscitar uma certa inquietude sobres estes territórios para que possam ser pensados, trabalhados e actualizados por uma nova geração de arquitectos; ### Abstract: The preparation of this paper intends to give visibility to a social and cultural issue related to the physical built heritage on the architectural point of view. Contemporary reflections are being questioned and interpreted, which deal with the issue of rural depopulation, aware of all the endogenous and exogenous processes reflected in the lack of development, stagnation or abandonment of rural areas. The gathering of cases revitalized in collaboration between thinkers, architects and architectural studios with relevant architectural thoughts, allow us to realize the extent to which architecture has the ability to be worked. In a last approach three villages are presented which envisage an overview of the inner universe of villages - the abandonment, stagnation and "tourist village". The objective is to raise some concern about these areas so they can be thought of, worked and updated by a new generation of architects.
